Touchon & Co Repeating Watches

Touchon & Co repeating watches are quite simply of the finest quality.

They produced quarter repeaters, 5 minute repeaters, and minute repeaters and some of these were also equipped with chronograph complications. A few were also allegedly produced with calender and clock watch complications, but I have never seen one, so if you are the fortunate owner of such a piece, I would be very pleased to hear from you.

All of them are extremely rare. If you are offered the opportunity to buy a Touchon & Co repeater, then I advise you to do so. Their prices have risen dramatically in recent years and as the brand gains recognition, they will rise further still. Please bear in mind however, that spare parts are either extremely scarce or non-existent, so any defects at all will be extremely expensive and difficult to rectify.

There were two main types of repeater movement and they are shown below. One bridge type is very distinctive although I have also seen this type gilded and bearing a triangle, so am unsure as to it's origins.
